Corporate Gifting Budget Guide: What ₹100, ₹300 and ₹700 Per Head Actually Buys
A realistic look at what each price band gets you per person, based on what actually sits in our catalogue — so you can size a budget before you go looking for approval.
The hardest part of a corporate gifting brief is usually the first number: what should we spend per person? Too low and the gift gets left in a drawer. Too high and finance sends it back. Here's what each band genuinely buys, based on what's in our own catalogue today.
Under ₹100 per head — volume giveaways
This is the exhibition-counter and conference-bag band. Pens, keychains, small desk items, sanitiser bottles, badge holders. The trick at this level is to choose something that gets used rather than something that merely gets taken — a decent metal pen outlives a branded notepad by years.
Works well for: trade shows, campus drives, large all-hands events, anything above 500 recipients.
₹100–₹300 per head — the everyday desk gift
The largest and most useful band. Table clocks, notebooks with pen loops, mobile stands, desk organisers, insulated bottles, tool kits. These are things people keep on a desk where your logo stays visible for years, which is the entire point of a branded gift.
Works well for: employee onboarding kits, festive distribution, mid-size client lists.
₹300–₹700 per head — gifts people mention
Vacuum flasks, wireless chargers, Bluetooth speaker clocks, cork and eco bags, multi-piece stationery sets. This is where a gift stops being a giveaway and starts being something the recipient tells someone else about.
Works well for: senior staff, long-service awards, key client relationships, Diwali gifting for a shortlist.
₹700 and above — gift sets and awards
Boxed sets — flask with steel cups, notebook-and-pen combinations, multi-item hampers — plus trophies and mementos. Packaging matters as much as contents up here; a good gift in a poor box reads cheaper than it cost.
Three things that move the number more than the product does
- Quantity. Almost everything gets cheaper past ten pieces, and meaningfully cheaper in the hundreds. Ordering 120 instead of 90 sometimes costs less in total.
- Branding method. A single-colour logo print is the cheapest option. Laser engraving on metal costs more but never wears off — worth it on anything long-lived.
- Packaging. Individual gift boxes can add meaningfully per unit. Decide early whether the gift is handed over in person or shipped.
