Notes from the shop
Family functions here are planned properly, and printed shirts have become part of that. A wedding weekend with matching tees for the cousins, a club tournament, a milestone birthday, a school reunion: the orders from Punjabi Bagh are usually small, personal and expected to look considered rather than mass produced.
Small and personal changes what the printing has to do. Thirty shirts with a different name on each is a vinyl job rather than a screen job, and a photograph or a full-colour illustration prints better as a transfer on a light cotton shirt. The fabric is worth choosing carefully, since these shirts are usually kept rather than worn out.
Timing tends to be the tighter constraint, because functions do not move. Approving the mockup early leaves room for a change of mind about a name or a size, and the shirts can be collected from the Tri Nagar shop if a courier would cut it too fine.
